The latest amendments to the Labor Code aim to promote a fairer, more transparent, and more modern approach to labor relations. These updates expand employees’ social rights while also creating a clearer legal framework for employers.
At Global Management, we are pleased to introduce you to the key changes made to the Labor Code:
• Men will be granted 14 days of paid leave in connection with the birth of a child.
• Additional conditions for remote work will be defined in the employment contract.
• Family responsibilities will be taken into account when assigning employees to night shifts.
• Employment contracts will be concluded with students undergoing internships.
• Business trips assigned by management will be mandatory.
• Discrimination among employees based on family responsibilities is prohibited.
• Teaching staff will be granted leave during the academic year.
• When an employee is called up for military service, they will receive an allowance of at least three times their average monthly salary.
These changes are aimed at maintaining balance in employer–employee relations, increasing social responsibility, and creating a healthier labor market environment.
