A chess tournament was held among employees of Global Management, Report News Agency, Baku TV, Caliber analytical platform, Oxu.az, and Baku.ws, all operating within Global Media Group.
The competition took place on May 7 at the Republican Chess Center with the support of the Azerbaijan Chess Federation and the Baku City Youth and Sports Department. Participants competed in seven rounds under the Swiss-system format, demonstrating their intellectual and strategic skills.
According to the final results, Zaur Hasanaliyev from Oxu.az secured first place, Sanan Agamalizadeh from Report News Agency finished second, and Rafael Rustamov from Baku.ws took third place.
The winners were awarded cash prizes, certificates, and chess sets presented by the Azerbaijan Chess Federation. Other participants received certificates of appreciation for their active participation.
