On March 18, in celebration of Global Recycling Day, the “Bring Paper – Take a Book” social and environmental project was launched at Baku European Lyceum. Supported by Global Management, the initiative aims to promote recycling culture, raise environmental awareness, and encourage reading habits among young people.
As part of the project, students brought unwanted paper materials from their homes and exchanged them for new books. The collected paper waste was then transferred to Tamiz Shahar JSC for recycling.
The initiative attracted significant interest from participants and contributes to both environmental responsibility and the development of reading habits among children and young people. Similar activities are planned to be held regularly on environmental awareness days, in educational institutions, at book fairs, and in other public venues.
The project is organized by Tamiz Shahar JSC and Baku European Lyceum with the support of the Azerbaijan Publishers Association, Global Media Group, Global Management, Bravo Supermarket, Smart Waste LLC, Chapar Printing House, Gilavar Photo Club, EcoHub, and the Azerbaijan Journalists Network Public Union.
