NAMING
The name selection process consists of several stages:
• Since the word “Cement” in the name AZCEMENT is a synthesis of the common country code “AZ”, it creates credibility for the product, and for the local and foreign markets it explains what the product is and where it belongs.
• It is memorable and easy to read for both the local and global markets.
LOGO
In the first part of the logo, the trowel icon makes a transition from A to Z. This demonstrates the logo’s connection with both cement and direct construction work.
PACKAGING
When designing the packaging, we preferred the use of national ornaments, attributes and historical monuments, considering that it is produced in Karabakh, in the Agdam region. This approach and general concept significantly distinguish AZCEMENT products from competitors’ products and make them unique. The reflection of national attributes in the product design with a new look and in a modern form positions it as a brand that is loyal to traditions and constantly progresses.
ECO
This color was chosen for CEM 300 based on nature protection and ecological sustainability. The name “Eco” once again emphasizes the ecological sustainability of the product.
PRO
This color was chosen for the most popular product CEM 400, as it is the official color of Shahbulag Mining’s logo.
TITAN
It was chosen to consider that cement and concrete are gray. “Titan” means “giant” in Greek, and the CEM500 type of cement was chosen based on its areas of use.
DETAILS IN THE LAYOUT DESIGN
The accent yellow color was used in all 3 types of packaging.
Horse - A figure of a Karabakh horse to emphasize the historical heritage and culture of Karabakh
Figure of the Juma Mosque (Aghdam) and Shahbulag Mosque (Shahbulag) located in the general region of Karabakh, Agdam district
Castle - A figure of Shahbulag Castle, the most famous historical monument in the region, as the factory is located in Shahbulag
Several architectural elements - arches, geometric structures, etc.
