The “Bring Paper, Take a Book” social and environmental project, supported by Global Management, participated in the 5th Children's Book Festival.
The “Bring Paper, Take a Book” social and environmental campaign, organized as part of the 5th Children's Book Festival held at the Baku Sports Palace, attracted significant interest from participants. The project aims to promote environmental awareness among children, encourage proper waste management habits, and foster a love of reading.
During the campaign, schoolchildren brought waste paper collected from their homes to the festival and received new books in exchange. The collected paper was then handed over to Tamiz Shahar JSC for recycling. The initiative delivered an important social message by promoting both environmental responsibility and reading culture among children.
Festival participants and parents shared positive feedback about the campaign, emphasizing the importance of organizing such initiatives on a regular basis. They noted that social and environmental projects play a significant role in educating younger generations and fostering a responsible attitude toward the environment.
As part of the project, similar campaigns are planned to be carried out regularly on environmental awareness days, at book fairs, and in various public spaces.
The “Bring Paper, Take a Book” social and environmental project is organized by Tamiz Shahar JSC and Baku European Lyceum, with the support of the Azerbaijan Publishers Association, Global Media Group, Global Management, Bravo Supermarket, Smart Waste LLC, Chapar Printing House, Gilavar Photo Club, EcoHub, and the Azerbaijan Journalists Network Public Union.
